Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

We match the cleaning method to the fibre, pile construction, and soiling on every job. Below is what we do, what it costs, and how the low-moisture Texatherm system protects your carpets while getting them genuinely clean.

Specialist Cleaning Services

Four core services, each carried out to professional standard with a method chosen for your specific carpet or upholstery.

Residential Carpet Cleaning

Deep cleaning for all domestic carpet types, including wool, Axminster and Wilton, polypropylene, nylon, polyester, Berber loop pile, and natural fibres such as sisal and seagrass. We identify the fibre and construction first, then clean with hot water extraction, low-moisture, or a dry method as appropriate. Wool and natural fibres are cleaned with the low-moisture method only, which keeps down the risk of the shrinkage and browning that over-wetting can cause. If you are weighing up a hired machine, our guide to DIY or professional cleaning sets out what each can do.

Commercial Cleaning

Regular maintenance programmes and one-off cleans for offices, hospitality venues, and rental properties across Gloucestershire. The low-moisture method means fast drying and minimal disruption, so areas are back in use quickly. Commercial carpet tiles can be cleaned with either method. Pricing for commercial work is tailored to the site. Whole-house and contract work is priced as one job, so it costs less than the room-by-room total: ask for a package quote. Landlords and letting agents: see end-of-tenancy carpet cleaning.

Stain Treatment

Specialist treatment for red wine, pet urine, blood, food, oil-based marks, and ingrained soiling, with a pre-assessment included. We use an enzyme-based pre-spray on protein stains and a solvent spotter on oil-based marks, applied before the main clean. We are honest about outcomes: fresh stains are highly treatable, but some older staining and bleach damage is permanent, and we will tell you that upfront rather than let you be disappointed on the day.

Upholstery Cleaning

Safe, effective cleaning for sofas, armchairs, and other upholstered furniture using fabric-appropriate methods and the same low-moisture system we use on carpets. Two-seater and three-seater sofas and individual armchairs are each priced separately. The low-moisture approach dries quickly, leaves minimal residue, and is well suited to homes with children and pets. Our guide to cleaning upholstery explains the fabric codes and what each allows. Our re-clean promise

If you are not happy with your clean, let us know within 72 hours of the end of your appointment through our assistant, with a photo of the problem, and we will arrange a single return visit at no charge. This does not cover pre-existing permanent staining that was present before the clean. The full conditions are in our terms.

Whole-house work is priced as one job, so it costs less than the room-by-room total, and commercial work is priced to the site. Both are quoted on request.

The Texatherm Low-Moisture System

We use a professional Texatherm machine that cleans with far less water than a standard hot-water extraction unit. It is a low-moisture, heat-assisted system: rather than soaking the carpet and relying on powerful suction to draw the water back out, it cleans the pile with much less water and lifts soil with a gentle mechanical action, so your carpets come out genuinely clean and dry far sooner than after a traditional wet clean.

Because it uses much less water, there is far less risk of the shrinkage, browning, or slow-drying damp that over-wetting can cause, a risk that matters most on wool, Axminster, Wilton, and delicate natural fibres.

Our guides compare low-moisture and hot water extraction in more depth, and cover drying times and aftercare once the clean is done.

  • Fast drying. Texatherm states 30-minute dry times for its system, far quicker than the several hours a standard wet extraction clean can need; the time on the day depends on the carpet and the room.
  • Much less water. Texatherm states the system uses up to 80% less water than standard extraction, so there is far less risk of over-wetting.
  • Suited to wool and delicate fibres. Low-moisture cleaning keeps the risk of over-wetting down, which matters most on wool, natural fibres, and other carpets that too much water can damage.
  • Low residue. Detergent left in the pile attracts soil, so a thorough clean that leaves little behind keeps a carpet cleaner for longer.
  • Sanitising option where needed. For jobs that call for it, we can use cleaning products the manufacturer states meet BS EN 1040, a laboratory screen for basic bactericidal activity.
